Student Council Elections
Student Council plans and organizes a wide variety of interesting and enjoyable student activities throughout the year. In May, an executive and the Grade 12 Reps are elected for the following school year. The president must be a Grade 12 student but the other positions as first and second vice-president, treasurer, and the secretary, can be filled by Grade 11 students. This executive body provides the leadership for the council and acts as a link between students and teachers.
Three representatives from each grade are elected in September. The student reps are the life of the council. They represent their grade levels and voice the desires of their peers. School dances are organized by Student Council. Theme days, special events, and fundraisers are other activities held throughout the year.
